There are three stages of hair growth: anagen, catagen, and telogen. During the anagen phase, hair is the most active as it is rapidly dividing and new hair is being formed. At this stage of hair growth, laser hair removal is most effective. Hair follicles do not grow in unison so each one may be at a different stage in growth, this is why we sell our laser treatments in groups of six. We schedule you a month apart so we are guaranteed to hit the follicles during all stages of hair growth. This will decrease the potential of the hair growing back in target areas.

Pre-Treatment Instructions

Shave 24 Hours before appointment. A close shave is better!

Avoid direct sunlight for at least 3 days before appointment.

Do NOT apply any products to treatment areas like deodorant, lotion, or makeup.

Avoid alcohol for 24 hours before treatment.

Do not get a spray tan or use self-tanning products for at least 2 weeks before treatment.

Do not wax, tweeze, or thread the area for 4 weeks prior to treatment

Post-Treatment Instructions

Gently clean the treated area with mild soap and pat dry.

Do not use makeup, lotion, or deodorant on treated areas for the first 24 hours or as long as there is irritation. Keep the area clean and dry.

Avoid the sun for 2 months. Use SPF30+ through the entire treatment process and 2 months after.

Do not remove hair from the treated area in any way other than shaving. Do not tweeze, wax, pick, scratch, or thread.

For the first few hours, you will likely notice redness and bumps. It may feel like a sunburn.

In 5-30 days after treatment, you may want to use an exfoliating cloth to assist with the shedding of the old, dead hair.
